Firefighters from the Consortium will attend the National Meeting of Rescue in Traffic Accidents and Trauma

The competition, which will be held in Cartagena, will begin on May 15 and will run until the 16th.

The firefighters of Lanzarote, belonging to the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote, are already preparing to participate in the National Meeting of Rescue in Traffic Accidents and Trauma (ENRATT) that is held in Cartagena

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, and the president of the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote, Francisco J. Aparicio, received the firefighters who will represent Lanzarote and La Graciosa in this important event. 

“Our firefighters are a reflection of the effort, dedication and care to maintain the safety of our citizens. I am convinced that they will do a great job as they always do in these meetings,” said the president, who wished good luck to all the members of the team. 

The president of the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote, Francisco J. Aparicio, assured that the team “is more than prepared to represent Lanzarote and La Graciosa”. “The fire department has more than proven, not only in training but in the day to day that they perform, that they have an incredible preparation in traffic accidents and I am sure that they will carry the name of both islands in the best possible way,” he added. 

The team that will travel to Cartagena is composed of the firefighters Chedey Tanausú Rodríguez Quintero, Rubén Tomás Guerra Rodríguez, Roberto Iván Betancort Corujo, Yoné Echedey Martín Fernández, Acaymo José Rodríguez Quintero and Néstor Crespo Rodríguez. Our team will compete on the 15th in an indeterminate maneuver at 14:00, while on May 16 they will perform another indeterminate maneuver at 08:20 hours. On the other hand, the trauma team will do so at 16:00 hours on the 15th.
