In this sense, the candidate "has opted for the implementation of a single Council for the area of Costa Teguise", they announce. "It is an area whose residents do not deserve the apathy and neglect with which they have been treated in recent years, they require special treatment and permanent attention to its inhabitants," says Jiménez.
The politician "advocates that the City Council create a district Council for the town", whose manager "is permanently in the municipal offices and can thus capture the problems of the residents", he emphasizes. "The idea is that residents feel advised and guided by municipal services, in coordination with the rest of the areas of the City Council," says Fernando.

"It would be a kind of local councilor, in the style of the municipal representation that La Graciosa has, for example, with a head of a district Council who would be the reference figure for the residents, an area with its own particularities, which is a residential and, at the same time, tourist area, but which has totally different needs from the rest of the municipality," the candidate asserts.
The candidate warns that "to implement solutions, the City Council needs an economic file with which it is able to address the creation of this new Council promptly and effectively."
