The Haría City Council, through the Department of Festivities, directed by Alberto de León, presents the official poster for this year's carnival with the theme *Peter Pan in Neverland*. The allegory was selected by the citizenry through popular vote via various social networks, fostering active participation of the neighbors in the choice of the common thread of the celebrationsThe mayor, Alfredo Villalba, highlighted the importance of citizen participation in the election of the theme and valued the enthusiasm of the town's residents. "The choice of this theme invites us to immerse ourselves in a world full of fantasy and fun for the whole family," he indicated
“With the allegory already defined, the City Council will begin preparations so that the carnival is an unforgettable experience, capable of bringing together neighbors and visitors in a fun celebration with strong cultural roots,” explained the Councilor for Festivals, Alberto de León.
The winning design, by Álex Dorta, incorporates characteristic elements of Haría combined with the fantasy of Neverland. "I wanted to reflect the magic of carnival and at the same time highlight the identity of our municipality, using vibrant colors and elements that convey fun and joy," explained the designer.
The main carnival activities will take place between February 26 and March 1, with a varied program that will be announced soon. Among the planned events are galas, carnival parades, concerts, festivals, and activities for all ages, designed for family enjoyment and to encourage the participation of the entire community.
