The until today regional Secretary of Communication and Island Coordinator of Ciudadanos, David Rodríguez, has left the formation.
As Rodríguez pointed out to La Voz, "this Friday I have resigned from all my organic positions and from my affiliation due to differences in criteria". Although Rodríguez did not want to explain what those differences were that led him to make that decision, he did point out that he has not even been able to speak with the regional coordinator "because he does not answer the phone." However, he added that he thanks Ciudadanos "for everything he has given him and wishes the orange formation the best."
David Rodríguez was appointed coordinator of Ciudadanos in Lanzarote and member of the Board of Directors of the Autonomous Committee of the party as head of Communication on September 28, 2020.
Ciudadanos continues to be immersed in a crisis after the electoral debacles in the Catalan elections as in the Madrid elections where it did not even obtain a seat in the Community.
