Ciudadanos has denounced this Tuesday that after the last rains recorded "days ago", the San Bartolomé City Council "has not yet restored normality on the road of Calera Street", in the industrial area of Playa Honda, where "currently the asphalt is covered by sand and mud that was dragged" by the water.

In this regard, the municipal spokesperson for the orange formation, Javier Lemes, has criticized that the government of the socialist group "has not cleaned up, once the rains and the storm have passed, this access through which hundreds of heavy vehicles travel daily", and through which "many residents also access to make their purchases in the surrounding shops".

Lemes has reminded the government group that "it is useless to have a renovation plan for the facades of the establishments in the industrial area, if we then abandon the accesses, street furniture, gardening and the environment in general".

Therefore, Ciudadanos in San Bartolomé has urged the mayor, Alexis Tejera, and his government group to "restore normality in the area as soon as possible, not only for aesthetics, but to guarantee safety".
