The spokesman for Ciudadanos (Cs) in the Yaiza City Council, Bruno Medina, has asked the Transportation area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Transportation Councilor of the local corporation to "clarify if the bus service that connects Playa Blanca with the Yaiza institute will be operational for the start of high school classes", or "if they can take advantage of school transport as in previous years, since as of today, students do not know how they will be able to travel to the center".

"We are informed by the company in charge of regular line transport that there is no line with a stop at IES Yaiza", Bruno Medina pointed out. In this sense, he has criticized that "the Transportation Councilor has not foreseen that, with the change of shift of the students, the bus line must also change its schedule and start operating in a timely manner, or adapt another line with capacity to that stop, for which he must claim it from the Cabildo so that it starts this service as soon as possible".

Therefore, the spokesman for the liberal party has demanded that "the bus service between Playa Blanca and the Yaiza institute be guaranteed, so that students can count on this service".
