During her speech, María Dolores Corujo highlighted the fundamental role of the PSOE as the only party capable of offering a solid project for Lanzarote and La Graciosa. "I feel strong and I feel like it because when I look at them I think that I cannot fail them or all the people who have placed their trust in us. Because we are the only party that can do it," she stated.
Corujo also referred to the current political context, underlining the importance of socialist unity and commitment in the face of the growing reactionary wave and the devolution of rights and freedoms. "Faced with the entire reactionary wave and the devolution of rights and freedoms, only the Socialist Party remains. We must send a clear message: faced with those who have no project, we are a strong party of men and women who are committed to the conviction that another way of doing politics is possible, but above all with the conviction of social justice and freedom," she declared firmly.
The candidate for re-election emphasized the coherence and values of the party, recalling its 145-year history of fighting for social justice. "We have no double standards. Faced with those who have no project, there are us. A 145-year-old party that has people who are committed to the conviction of social justice and freedom," Corujo concluded. With this candidacy, María Dolores Corujo is firmly committed to continuing to lead "a project that seeks to continue transforming the island with progressive policies committed to the citizens."
