Ciudadanos has demanded this Tuesday to the Yaiza City Council "a definitive solution to the pipe breaks in the streets of Uga", and has proposed that an agreement be reached with the Water Consortium "the total repair of the pipeline", in order to "avoid the continuous water cuts suffered by the residents and the damage that this situation produces in the streets".
"We must stop putting patches", said the municipal spokesman of Cs, Bruno Medina, who also asked that "Canal Gestión be immediately required to carry out the cleaning and restoration of the streets where the breakdowns occur".
And, according to Medina, "sometimes it takes more than a week to carry out the resurfacing, leaving the streets "full of holes and in poor condition", a fact that "could cause accidents to pedestrians and users of the roads". In addition, he says that "the sidewalks are also impassable due to the accumulation of debris".

For this reason, Medina has requested that "the roads and sidewalks be cleaned after the repair, as the mud covers the recently painted road markings and disfigures the main streets of the town".
Therefore, the Ciudadanos councilor has insisted that "the Yaiza City Council must work to definitively solve this problem in the water supply", as he stresses that "it is a basic necessity".
