Cabildo and caravanners agree to work to find a camping space on the island

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, has received the board of directors of the newly created Association of Caravaners El Burgao at the Presidency of the first island institution to "analyze the current reality of this group on the island and plan its future after the pandemic."

During the meeting, the president and the representatives of El Burgao agreed to "work together to find a space on the island that makes the interests of those who enjoy camping compatible with health regulations and environmental requirements." 

"In addition, we have shared our concern about the current health situation and agreed that it is a time to take extreme precautions and move away from the usual behavior habits," said the president after the meeting.

The president pledged to forward the proposals of the El Burgao Caravan Association to the Island Council.
