The president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Blas Acosta (PSOE), has announced during the island plenary session this Thursday his resignation from office and has left the plenary session.
The resignation occurred on the same day that Sandra Domínguez, from Municipal Assemblies of Fuerteventura (AMF), has taken possession of her act as a councilor of the Corporation replacing Marcelino Cerdeña.
This incorporation opened the possibility of a possible motion of censure against Acosta, by joining the seven councilors of CC and the four of the PP.
The socialist Blas Acosta is immersed in two judicial cases, in which the Prosecutor's Office has already formulated a written accusation and has requested the opening of oral trial against him.
