Astrid Pérez has taken office again as mayor of Arrecife with the support of her party and the representatives of the Canarian Coalition, pending confirmation of her departure to the presidency of the Parliament of the Canary Islands.
If it is confirmed that Pérez will hold the second highest responsibility in the archipelago after the presidency of the Government, the next on the list is Yonathan de León, since the second elected councilor María Jesús Tovar resigned from her position to assume a councilorship in the Cabildo.
On the other hand, Pedro San Ginés, who occupied the second position on Echedey Eugenio's list, has resigned from his position.
