The Department of Education of the Arrecife City Council, directed by councilor Abigail González, has opened the bidding process for the contracting of the management and operation service of the Arrecife Municipal Nursery School.
The contract aims to guarantee the correct functioning of the center and the provision of the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, a fundamental service for numerous families in the municipality.
The annual base bidding budget amounts to 452,512.20 euros, while the estimated value of the contract reaches 2,227,648.8 euros, taking into account the possible extensions foreseen in the procedure. The initial execution period will be one year, with the possibility of up to three additional extensions, as established in the specifications.
Interested companies may submit their proposals through the Public Sector Contracting Platform until Monday, April 6 at 13:00 hours Canary Islands time.
The Councillor for Education, Abigail González, has stressed that this tender will allow to guarantee the continuity and quality of the educational service provided by the Municipal Infant School.
“The Municipal Nursery School is a fundamental resource for many families in Arrecife. With this tender, we seek to ensure professional and quality management that guarantees the best educational care for boys and girls in a key stage of their development,” he/she states.
González adds that from the area of Education, work continues to strengthen municipal educational services and improve early childhood care.
