The Arrecife City Council demands that the Cabildo execute the project for the sanitation works of the Charco de San Ginés once and for all, since the smell suffered by the center of Arrecife affects both the people who walk through the capital, as well as the shops and restaurants in the area.
“Arrecife has been asking for this situation to be fixed for a long time. The fact that this continues to happen in the city is just another example of the neglect of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, who have had the project drafted for a long time and have not yet executed it, causing these problems of sanitation overflow and bad odors in the area,” says Ástrid Pérez.
Therefore, the mayor of Arrecife urges the Cabildo of Lanzarote to solve this situation as soon as possible, which is causing so much inconvenience to the residents of Arrecife.
