The Councilor for Festivities of Arrecife, Echedey Eugenio, demands that the fairground operators correct the deficiencies detected this Tuesday in the implementation of the Security Plan, and adds that they have already begun to work in a coordinated manner to resolve them as soon as possible.

The Fair, which began operating on August 9, had planned to dedicate this Tuesday to an inclusive day specially designed for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but it has not been able to open its doors because the incorporation of new elements has caused several problems.

“We regret the inconveniences generated, but in security matters it is important to apply responsibility. Public officials have to guarantee the safety of users,” said Echedey Eugenio, who appreciates the work and willingness of the Classified Activities Area and the Local Police and “so that everything is in full condition.”

“A deadline has been given to the fairground operators, with whom we are already working in a coordinated manner, to correct all the non-compliance issues and we plan to extend the days of the Fair, even after the holidays end, so that everyone can enjoy it,” adds Eugenio.
