The Local Police of Arrecife informs that many vehicles that are obstructing the work of the machinery to remove the mud accumulated by the heavy rains are being transferred to the area of the large parking lot next to the Theme Park.

The Local Police is collaborating with the deployment that the mayor of the city, Yonathan de León, has activated to regain normality. The agents, supported by the municipal crane, transfer those vehicles that hinder the work of the machinery to the Theme Park area. If the owners notice that their vehicles are not in the areas where they were parked, they can go directly to the large parking lot of the Theme Park for direct removal.

Since the afternoon of last Saturday, at the end of the downpour, the mayor Yonathan de León, has been coordinating the deployment of more than 100 troops to help in the work of removing the huge layers of mud left by the water spout, plus the runoff from the Montaña Mina and Zonzamas ravines.

Along with this deployment is the contribution of machinery and workers from several construction companies that reinforce the work at full speed. The mayor appreciates the collaboration and coordination with the Councilor for Security and Emergencies of the Cabildo, Kiko Aparicio, in these reinforcements.

The different City Council Departments of Arrecife, under the supervision of each of their delegated councilors, are working to assist the affected residents and businesses, as well as this deployment of personnel so that the streets and public spaces of the capital of Lanzarote return to normal and the roads can be traveled without the presence of these residues dragged by the rains.
