The Arrecife City Council, for the second consecutive year, organizes different recreational sports campuses intended, free of charge, for families with children residing in this municipality.

Under the direct organization of the Department of Sports, led by councilwoman Eli Merino, these campuses were presented today in the courtyard of La Recova and will be offered between July 20 and August 14, from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

The mayor of the city, Yonathan de León, along with the spokesperson councilwoman Eli Merino, presented these complementary activities for the summer holidays of schoolchildren residing in the municipality of Arrecife this Tuesday.

These campuses, each lasting one week, will be free for Arrecife families, and start on the 20th. Families wishing to register their children must scan the attached QR code, as detailed by Mayor Yonathan de León, who emphasized that the City Council offers many alternatives for families aimed at training, entertainment, and leisure during these school holidays.

The campuses, as detailed by the mayor, will be held in the sports facilities of the Titerroy Pavilion, which last year saw the opening of multipurpose sports courts nearby, in La Paciencia Park, and in the renovated sports facilities of the Las Salinas neighborhood.

In addition to these recreational sports campuses, the City Council offers other activities throughout the network of socio-cultural centers during this summer holiday period for students.

The Councilor for Sports, Eli Merino, informed at the press conference that those who wish to register must scan this QR code and sign up for free. These campuses will run between July 20 and August 14. We offer 40 places per week and campus, so that many more families have many more options," she remarked.

Eli Merino recalled that, after the success achieved last year with the first recreational sports camps organized in Arrecife, the Department of Sports has promoted this new edition of sports campuses in 2026 in the neighborhoods of Las Salinas and Titerroy, where families from the municipality can register their children, until the quota for each weekly campus is filled.
