Approved in plenary the proposal for a young entrepreneur check promoted by the PP of San Bartolomé

The Popular Party of San Bartolomé is pleased that the municipal plenary of San Bartolomé unanimously approved, in the ordinary session held this Wednesday, the motion presented for the creation of a young entrepreneur check in the municipality.

The spokesperson for the PP in the municipality, Jeziel Martín, positively valued this approval “that will positively impact the young people of the municipality”. “I know firsthand how difficult it is to start a business when you are young and with just enough resources, and measures like this will allow the ideas of the residents of San Bartolomé to come to light”, he asserted.

This young entrepreneur check would be based, according to the motion endorsed by the municipal groups of San Bartolomé, on a direct aid to young entrepreneurs so that they can face the necessary payments to start their business project, such as Social Security contributions; the expenses of professionals, both advisory and engineers or architects, or the expenses of insurance, rentals, advertising, training, licenses or digitization.

“The City Council is the first door that citizens turn to and, it is the obligation of this Council, to have a hand extended and offer facilities to the young people of the municipality who seek to fulfill a dream”, added Martín.

In addition, this measure can go hand in hand with the multiple initiatives that the Canary Executive is taking for young people, such as the 0 quota for new self-employed workers. “Young people are the future, and it is our obligation to give them all the necessary tools to fulfill their concerns”, said the popular spokesperson.

In this way, "the Popular Party of San Bartolomé continues to collect all the demands that the young people of the municipality transfer to the formation daily, proposing initiatives in the plenary that substantially improve their quality of life", they concluded from the party.
