Air conditioning installation completed at El Fondeadero after a 90,000 euro investment

The Tías Town Hall has completed the installation of a state-of-the-art air conditioning system in the El Fondeadero cultural hall, in Puerto del Carmen. This action, which has involved an investment of 90,000 euros, responds to a repeated neighborhood request in recent years, especially due to the high temperatures reached in summer, making it difficult to use the space during certain hours of the day.

The Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Citizen Participation, Nicolás Saavedra, highlighted that "this initiative is the result of several years of work, seeking a technical solution that respects the uniqueness of the cultural space and integrates in the best possible way. Today we can say that El Fondeadero is a more comfortable space and prepared to continue being a meeting point and neighborhood participation."

For her part, the Councilor for Culture, Pepa González, pointed out that "the intention is that all our cultural spaces are adapted and we continue investing in them. Proof of this is the recent action in the Tías chapel and the different interventions that we are already planning in other parts of the municipality."

With this action, the Tías Town Hall takes a further step in improving and adapting its network of cultural infrastructures, guaranteeing access in optimal conditions for citizens and groups that regularly use these spaces.
