Yellow warning for high temperatures for this Monday in Lanzarote

According to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency, thermometers may exceed 34 degrees on the island

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow warning for high temperatures for this Monday in Lanzarote.

The warning will be active from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and, according to Aemet, the heat will especially affect the interior, west and south areas, where 34ºC will be exceeded. It is not ruled out that 30ºC will be reached in the rest of the areas. It is also expected that the minimums will be locally high. In addition, there will be haze at high levels.

There will be intervals of medium and high clouds during the first half of the day, with a low probability that they will be associated with some isolated storm in the vicinity; From noon, skies will be partly cloudy or clear.

As for the wind, it will blow from the northeast, more intense in the extreme north and there will be breezes on the south coasts.
