Yellow alert activated for wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour in Lanzarote

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow wind warning for next Monday, June 29, in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

This situation, which will begin at three in the morning on Monday and will continue until 11:59 p.m. on the same day, could leave wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.

This wind will blow from the northeast and will strengthen considerably especially in areas of the southern half during the night and in the afternoon.

 

Prediction for this Sunday

For this Saturday, Aemet forecasts a predominance of cloudy skies in the north and little cloudiness in the rest of the areas of Lanzarote. Temperatures will experience few changes, with minimums between 19 and 21 degrees and maximums of 26. The trade wind will blow with intervals of strong gusts.
