The Yaiza City Council informs that the Christmas market scheduled for this Sunday, December 15, in the Plaza de Los Remedios in Yaiza has been postponed due to strong wind and rain.
"Once the new date is agreed with the people in charge of the stalls, the Administration will announce the day of its celebration", the Council has reported.
As will be recalled, the General Directorate of Emergencies decreed this Saturday the pre-alert for wind and coastal phenomena in Lanzarote, with winds that may reach 70 kilometers per hour.
