The NGO SOS Desaparecidos wanted to clarify that the families of the girls who remain missing in Tenerife, Olivia and Anna, are not requesting money to pay for the location work, which is carried out with human and material resources from the Civil Guard.

On Monday night, the entity warned of the existence of a scam using the tragedy experienced by the mother of the little girls and the family of their father, Tomás Gimeno, against whom an international search warrant was issued, as bait.

Unknown people are asking for donations for this cause through the Gofundme page. In the image disseminated by the Spanish NGO, it can be seen how, under a photo of the minors, it is stated: "Help Anna and Olivia", target 1,000 euros.

The entity that supports the mother of the little girls thanks the SOSDesaparecidos fraud and scam tracking team on the social network Facebook for detecting the deception, "which has worked quickly".

"Of course no one is asking for donations and it is a scam," insists the NGO, which had already warned of another person who was trying to get money from this family's drama.
