The Mayor of San Bartolomé, María Dolores Corujo Berriel, on behalf of the entire Corporation, congratulates the Rural Association of Women "Tiemar", for the recent award from the Canary Islands Institute of Equality 2012/2013 in the category of initiative of social interest that has an impact on improving the position and/or condition of women in today's society.
This award has been published in the BOC nº 51, this Friday, March 14.
This well-deserved award has been granted for the excellent work that the association has been carrying out since its creation, in 2003, defending the rights of women and promoting equal opportunities between women and men. The Mayor congratulates the Association, its President, Vicenta Monge, and all the volunteers who have collaborated and collaborate with the association actively.
