The wind that is lashing Lanzarote and La Graciosa these days due to a storm located northeast of the islands will give us a truce this Friday. Both islands are this Thursday under yellow alert for strong wind gusts and orange for rough sea conditions.

According to the State Meteorological Agency, these warnings will end at 23:59 hours on Thursday night.

However, the yellow warning for wind will be activated again on Saturday at 06:00 hours and will extend until 18:00 on that same day. The gusts may reach and/or exceed 70 kilometers per hour.

The State Meteorological Agency has indicated that this storm will arrive very weakened, so its effects, in principle, will not be notable. So far, the Southwest Group, formed by Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium and Luxembourg, has not assigned any name to this storm.
