The swell does not abandon Lanzarote: yellow alert for coastal phenomena this Friday

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has established a new yellow alert for surf for this Friday in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. The Aemet forecast estimates that throughout Friday, February 6, there will be adverse **coastal phenomena** in Lanzarote **all day long**.

In the same situation will be the neighboring island of Fuerteventura, as well as a stretch of northern Tenerife, all of eastern La Palma and the island of El Hierro in its entirety. 

The probability of this warning occurring is between 40% and 70%. On this occasion, combined northwest sea is expected with waves between four and five meters.

The island was already on yellow alert for swell at the beginning of the week, between Monday and this Wednesday. On this occasion, the waves are up to four meters high.
