The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts that the wind and swell continue to be the protagonists this weekend in Lanzarote, as well as cloudy skies with possibility of weak rains and occasional.
The Aemet maintains the yellow warnings for wind and coastal phenomena until Saturday, due to gusts that can reach and/or exceed 70 kilometers per hour and waves that can reach up to five meters in height. These warnings will be in effect until 20.59 hours on that same day.
For Saturday, a predominance of clear skies is expected, except in the north and west where it will be cloudy and weak and occasional precipitation is not ruled out. Haze will remain present, mainly at altitude, dissipating from midday. Minimum temperatures will barely experience changes, while maximum temperatures will be in a slight decrease, locally notable in southern interior areas. Values between 15 and 20 degrees are expected.
For its part, the wind will blow from moderate to strong from the northeast with very strong gusts in inland and southeastern areas.
As for the Sunday, cloudy intervals are expected with low probability of weak and occasional rains. Temperatures will continue to slightly decrease, with lows of 12 degrees and highs of 20. The wind will blow from the northeast with strong gusts.
