The windstorm that hit Lanzarote this Monday left wind gusts of up to 81 kilometers per hour in the municipalities of Haría and Tinajo, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). 

In Tías, the wind gusts reached 78 kilometers per hour, while the airport area registered winds of up to 74 kilometers per hour. The wind blew less strongly in Yaiza, where the highest gusts were 62 kilometers per hour. Regarding Teguise, Aemet does not provide data.

The yellow wind warning in Lanzarote was deactivated at 10:00 p.m. this Monday, although the warning for coastal phenomena remains this Tuesday, which also affected the island yesterday. However, this warning has dropped from orange to yellow this morning, a state in which it will remain until 8:00 p.m., with waves of four to five meters expected.
