The film director Javier Calvo (Murcia, 1991) is spending a few days on vacation in Lanzarote. The also screenwriter, producer, actor, and presenter spent the weekend on the island, amid the success of the presentation of his upcoming film La bola negra (2026), a tribute to the Granada artist Lorca which received a standing ovation in Cannes and will be released next September.
Last Friday, Calvo was able to enjoy Leiva's concert, with whom he maintained a close family relationship for years. Javier Calvo was the partner of Javier Ambrossi and, for several years, Leiva was also in a relationship with the latter's sister, Macarena García.
In fact, both have collaborated professionally; among other things, the former singer of Pereza voiced the main theme of the film La Llamada (2020), with the hit song of the same name, which won a Goya for best original song.
During his concert at Lava Live Lanzarote, Leiva decided to perform this hit, while sending a warm message to the also producer and pointing out the coincidences of life for both of them to meet again in Lanzarote.
Calvo was able to enjoy a few days of summer weather in Lanzarote and has shared some of his images on the island on social media. He is also joined by presenter Sara CarboneroSara Carbonero, who also traveled to the island this weekend to watch her son's football match.
