The Isla Lanzarote Gymnastics Club celebrated its 20th anniversary with the show "A Fantastic World". With a spectacular staging where the numerous attending public enjoyed and applauded the work carried out by the organization and the effort made by the students, who surprised with their spectacular and well-coordinated choreographies.
Each of the choreographies reflected the work carried out by their teachers, with the costumes, makeup, lighting and sound playing a very important role because they all managed to ensure that the show never lost its brilliance.
"A Fantastic World" achieved the set objectives, managing to make all the participants shine with their own light, girls and boys, as well as young people of different ages, delighted, leaving their relatives and friends who filled the stands to the brim astonished. To please everyone, the organization had to schedule two sessions, one at 6:30 p.m. and the second at 9:00 p.m.
The show featured four great voices of young singers from Lanzarote in the musical part, such as Almudena Hernández, Montse Medina, Alejandro Sánchez and Israel López. With great elegance, located in an improvised music kiosk, they were interpreting each of the songs that accompanied the acrobatics carried out by the students, who filled the enabled track of the Lanzarote Sports City court with color.
For this special occasion, students who have been part of the Isla Lanzarote Club of the La Playa group and the national team of men's artistic gymnastics participated, and where the "Fairy Godmother Doña Montserrat" could not be missing either.
The staging was possible thanks to the collaborations of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the town councils of Arrecife, Yaiza and Tinajo. The Councilor for Sports of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Francisco Javier Aparicio, and the Councilor for Sports of the Arrecife City Council, Roy González, were present at the opening ceremony.
