The Insular Directorate of the General Administration of the State in Lanzarote recognized this Monday Ágata López García, the island's first female referee to be promoted to the Women's First Football Division, in an event held at the Insular Directorate where her career, her commitment to refereeing, and the importance of her achievement for Lanzarotean sport were highlighted.
The insular director, Pedro Viera, presented Ágata López with a diploma of recognition for this milestone, which is a source of pride for the entire island and makes the Lanzarotean referee a role model for new generations.
