La Antigua event hall, on José Antonio street, hosted the presentation of the candidates for Miss Arrecife and Queen of the San Ginés festivities 2013 on Saturday night. In addition, the pre-gala was held, in which the first titles were awarded. Thus, Yadira Betancort was crowned as Miss Beautiful Body, Cristina Croitoru as Miss Beautiful Hair and Anka Dragomir as Miss Beautiful Legs.
In the pre-gala, 16 candidates out of the 17 who are running were presented, since one of them could not attend due to being in mourning. The event was presented by Carmen Nieves and directed by Willie Díaz.
The candidates made two passes, the first in lingerie and the second in a gala dress, and between each pass the Ballet "Ya tu Sabes" performed. While the jury deliberated, the singer Desiré performed, encouraging the public and family members attending the pre-gala.
The organization was in charge of the Department of Festivities of the Arrecife City Council, with the collaboration of Toyota Automóviles Lanzarote.
The election gala for Miss Arrecife and Queen of San Ginés 2013 will take place on Wednesday, August 14 at 9:30 p.m. at the Arrecife Fairgrounds, after the reading of the inaugural proclamation of the festivities.
