Three of the 18 candidates who aspire to become Miss Arrecife and Queen of the San Ginés Festivities have already won their first prizes, which were awarded at the pre-gala held on Saturday night at the Tángara nightclub, which was not attended by councilors from the Arrecife City Council.
At the event, Iraya González López won the title of Miss Beautiful Hair, while Yanira Rodríguez Barrios won Miss Beautiful Legs and Yadira Betancor García won Miss Beautiful Body. Josué Quevedo, Tamara Ramón and Giovani Déniz presented the respective sashes and crowns to each of the winners.
During the pre-gala, which was not included in the official program of the San Ginés festivities, the candidates made three passes. The first, which was not scored by the jury, in sportswear, and the following two in bikini and evening dress.
During the course of the pre-gala, presented by Carmen Nieves and directed by Willy Díaz, the public enjoyed musical performances by the group Fahsion shooll and the singer Desiré. Afterwards, while the jury deliberated, the singer Rebeca took to the stage.
