The Canary Islands airports are operating this Tuesday with "normality" except for some "punctual delays", according to Aena sources.

Unlike what happened this Monday, in the last hours there have been no diversions or cancellations due to the strong gusts of wind blowing in the archipelago.

On Monday, seven flights were canceled and another four were diverted, and most of the incidents were concentrated in the airports of La Palma and Tenerife Norte, which also affected a connection from that island with Lanzarote.

In La Palma, the State Meteorological Agency registered a gust of 104 kilometers per hour on Monday.
