In 'Lanzarote Limpia', an association dedicated body and soul to the island, they demonstrate to fight for a real change in Lanzarote. One of the projects they have been most focused on is 'El Bosquecillo' and they focus all their efforts on getting it conditioned.

The activist Aduén Morales speaks openly about the organization, which was created with the need to protect and conserve Lanzarote”. They currently continue their activity throughout the territory to help its conservation: "we saw that everything was getting worse". The objective of our work is to express our discontent leaving a positive mark and reaching all levels of society so that they join our actions".

“El Bosquecillo is a unique natural space that is now absolutely abandoned and dirty”, he laments.

"A place from which the intentions of all public managers can be shown", he criticizes in reference to the fact that "absolutely nothing has been done to change the situation". A position that "they did not expect" considering the complaints they have issued from social networks "there has not been a reactive attitude or response from the City Council". Something to which they do not see an apparent solution "we give it up for lost".

"They see what we do and thank us"

On the contrary, citizens are 100% involved with the cause "the people of Haría and even tourists send us photos, write to us informing us about how it is, etc.". Although some "have normalized it", he acknowledges. "Many times people do not pay attention to what is around, they simply go up "to the little balcony" to take a photo and then leave”, claims the hariano.

He sends a resounding message to the City Council: "if nature is not valued, let it be done for economic reasons", which is what "feeds us all".

Given the seriousness of the state of the grove: "there are broken barbecues, areas used as toilets where people relieve themselves and broken swings held only with a screw". An accident will have to happen for them to do something, for example, someone falling on the swings.

In addition, "if tourists come and see it in that state, they will not want to return".

An "unfair world for future generations"

He is also clear that they are not going to give up: "We are going to do another study of the land again, specifically, of how far the garbage that is there reaches, to then go and record, make it visible on social networks, tag the City Council and share it with other associations that manage instances, complaints and bureaucracy with which to pressure the administration".

An initiative, which has the understanding of everyone, with which they intend to avoid greater damage in the future and "an unfair world that we are going to give to future generations, something that they are going to suffer".
