The Aemet activates the yellow alert for waves in Lanzarote and La Graciosa

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow alert for strong surf in Lanzarote and La Graciosa starting at 8:00 PM this Wednesday. This situation will extend until 11:59 PM on Thursday.

Specifically, rough seas from the north are expected with waves that **can reach four meters in height**. Likewise, this situation will also affect the islands of La Palma, El Hierro, La Gomera, northern Tenerife and Gran Canaria, and Fuerteventura

As for the forecast for this Wednesday, cloudy intervals are expected with a probability of weak and occasional light rain in the early hours. Regarding temperatures, they are expected to change little, with lows between 16 and 17 degrees and highs of 21. The trade winds will blow moderately, occasionally strong from the afternoon onwards.
