The film "Evolution" continues filming on the island of Lanzarote. This Thursday, the media were able to attend the filming set in Tenésar, a town in the municipality of Tinajo. The president of the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, and the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, also traveled to the area.

In Tenésar, filming was taking place indoors, but the actors rehearsed a scene in front of the media. This sequence, in which women with lanterns appear, was going to be filmed at night, as the director needed darkness for it.

"Evolution" is a Spanish-French science fiction co-production. The film is directed by Lucile Hadzihalilovic, screenwriter and director of, among other films, "Innocence", best new film at the San Sebastián Festival in 2004.

The director plans to shoot in Lanzarote until August 4. The Spanish co-producer of this project is the Tenerife-based producer Volcano Films. In addition to Tenésar, various scenes have already been recorded in the municipality of Tías.
