The Water Consortium, responsible for water management in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, reported this Monday cuts in the supply in six towns on the island.
Specifically, the cuts affect the neighborhoods of El Lomo and the Charco de San Ginés area in Arrecife due to urgent maintenance work, as reported on the website. This interruption of supply began at 09:00 and will extend until 20:00.
Likewise, the towns of Tías, Conil, Masdache, and La Asomada also have no supply throughout this day.
In addition, during these last few days, the town of Playa Honda has been suffering from the interruption of supply, which has aroused complaints from residents.
In fact, the San Bartolomé City Council issued a statement through social networks in which they pointed out that this lack of water is due to "a general breakdown in the supply network".
According to their statements, the Lanzarote Water Consortium is working to restore service as soon as possible.
