Maritime Rescue rescued a boat with 43 people on board near the coast of Órzola early this Sunday morning. According to CECOES, among the migrants there are six minors and one woman.
With all the rescued on board, the Salvamar Al Nair headed to the Commercial dock, in Arrecife, where its disembarkation ended after 04:00 hours.
At the Commercial dock in Arrecife they were assisted by the Red Cross. Three of them had to be evacuated to Molina Orosa due to different pathologies.
With this, there are already 5 boats that have reached the Island this week, in total 201 people have been rescued.
