Two Canary Islanders internationally recognized in different disciplines enjoyed a vacation together in La Graciosa when they were just little kids. NBA basketball player Santi Aldama and urban music singer Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo, known artistically by his mother's surname as Quevedo, have shared a photograph on their social media vacationing on the eighth island.
In the image released last weekend, you can see them both playing paddleball in one of the characteristic streets of Caleta de Sebo, in La Graciosa. In the photograph, the green doors and white houses can be observed.
It presents the paradox that this image was taken when neither of them could imagine that their dreams would come true and that they would come to represent the archipelago as two exponents of sport and music
At just 25 years old, the Canary Islander Santi Aldama has become a power forward for the Memphis Grizzlies. Currently, he is one of only two Spaniards playing in the NBA, the most important basketball league in the world.
Meanwhile, Quevedo is one of the leading figures in urban music worldwide. After gaining recognition for his participation in *Cayó la noche* (2021), and becoming an **international phenomenon** with session number 52 (2022) with Bizarrap. Currently, the Gran Canaria native has 27.6 million listeners on Spotify.
