UGT agrees to postpone the partial strike scheduled for this coming Monday, December 9, after the negotiation table was opened. This Thursday, in relation to the labor conflict that is maintained with the company URBASER R.S.U, this union organization has held a meeting with the Arrecife City Council and representatives of the company URBASER.
During the negotiation table, the parties presented their proposals and expressed their willingness to reach an agreement. Given that it is necessary to review new documentation that the company must provide, it has been decided to resume the negotiation table next week.
Therefore, the Legal Representation of the Workers, in order to resolve the labor conflict, decides to postpone the start of the partial stoppages with the commitment of all parties to continue the negotiation during the next week. The call for a strike is therefore maintained with a partial character for the days 16 and 23 of December, and with an indefinite character from December 30.
"We appreciate the mediation of the Arrecife City Council and the willingness of the company to continue negotiating," they conclude from the union.
