The decrease in patients on the Covid ward of the Molina Orosa Hospital continues, where this Friday there are 12 people admitted with coronavirus. This is seven less than a week ago, when the health center was experiencing one of the worst moments of this sixth wave. As for the ICU, it was already without Covid patients last week and remains so this Friday.
According to the Lanzarote Health Area, the admitted patients are 7 men and 5 women, aged between 18 and 91 years.
On the other hand, the Covid outbreak that was detected in the Insular Hospital more than two weeks ago, and that affected 15 patients, is now considered controlled. Regarding those who were infected, almost all have already been discharged from the epidemiological point of view, having tested negative for the virus, and only three active cases remain.
