Noemí Merino became the "winner +1" of Gran Hermano this Tuesday, thanks to the victory of Pepe Flores, who achieved 44.1 percent of the votes. However, the Lanzarote native was the great absentee at the final gala of the program, although she will take the 20,000 euro prize, as she was the "contestant +1" that Pepe had chosen.

Mercedes Milá herself explained at the beginning of the gala that the program had decided not to invite Noemí, after the episode last week, when the contestant's mother took her off the set in the middle of the interview. "Noe is not here tonight with us or with you. The program has not invited her but that does not mean that she does not qualify for the prize because she is still Pepe's winner +1," the presenter indicated.

She also said that "in Gran Hermano you enter to share the coexistence with colleagues and with the audience in a very generous way and then you have to answer for what has been done." "This causes a lot of tension for Noe and her environment and we do not want a moment of tension to be repeated like when her mother took her off the set. Noe is not here but we send her and wish her all the luck in the world," said Mercedes Milá.

Noemí went to the Telecinco studios but they did not let her into the gala. Thus, she had to watch the final of Gran Hermano in a nearby bar, accompanied by Pepe Herrero, another former contestant. The Lanzarote native decided to explain on camera why she had not attended the gala.

"They haven't let me in. I am not accredited to enter the gala. It was their decision, but they have been very kind to me. They assure that it is for my safety, but I am 100 percent active to be there with my finalist," insisted the Lanzarote native, who thanked everyone who has supported her, as well as the defenders of Pepe Flores. "Thanks to those who have supported me. It's a shame I can't be there enjoying with Pepe, but I'll enjoy it from the other side," she said.

As for the rest of the finalists, María surprised everyone by taking second place, followed by Dani and Alessandro. The Italian, who had a relationship with Noemí inside the house, was finally relegated to fourth place.
