Covid-19 has left a new death in Lanzarote, of an 89-year-old man. The patient went to the Emergency Room this Monday and shortly after, he died in this unit of the Molina Orosa Hospital.

As specified by the Lanzarote Health area, the man suffered from other "previous pathologies". With this, there are already 15 people who have died in the sixth wave, and 69 since the pandemic began.

The last death was reported on February 8, and it was a 91-year-old man who was in hospital admission.

In addition, it should be remembered that although on February 14, the Ministry of Health added a death that was "pending validation", and which was therefore number 69, last Thursday, February 17, the Ministry subtracted that last deceased, alleging "a statistical adjustment", and placing the deaths at 68 at that time.
