National Geographic has once again published a photograph by Lanzarote photographer Juan Méndez in its photo of the day section, which it has titled "A Lanzarotean Icarus".
It is a spectacular image taken near the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves near Teguise.
Méndez is a photography enthusiast and uploads all his work to his instagram @j.mendez.fotografia.
