Maritime Rescue rescues seven boats near the coast of Lanzarote

About 351 people, including women and children, could be traveling in the boats

Maritime Rescue has rescued seven precarious boats near the coast of Lanzarote during the night and early morning of this Saturday, November 2, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. Initial reports indicate that a total of 351 people were rescued, including minors and women.

In total, about 186 people could be traveling in the first four, including 13 women and 4 minors. After being rescued, they have been treated in Puerto Naos by the Red Cross.

Subsequently, another three precarious boats have been rescued, in which about 165 people would be traveling. All the occupants of the inflatable boats are in good health, and among them there are sub-Saharans and Maghrebi people.
