A boat has been rescued this Wednesday morning near Lanzarote. The events have occurred at about 5.41 hours in international waters 45 miles nautical northwest of Arrecife, after the ship 'Karoline' sighted the boat. After the rescue, Maritime Rescue has headed to the dock of Puerto Naos in Arrecife.
There were 48 people on board, 47 men and one woman, of sub-Saharan and Maghreb origin. One of the rescued, has been transferred to the Hospital José Molina Orosa to be attended. The rest are in good health.
