Maritime Rescue rescues a boat near Lanzarote

There were 54 people on board, 39 men, nine women and six minors

Maritime Rescue has rescued a new boat in waters near Lanzarote early this Sunday morning.

A boat in which 54 people of Maghreb and sub-Saharan origin were traveling, according to CECOES. 39 men, nine women and six minors (four boys and two girls), all in good health, so none had to be transferred to the José Molina Orosa hospital.

Once all the occupants were transferred to Puerto Naos in the capital of Lanzarote, they were attended by the Red Cross.
