Mariano Stinga González, from Lanzarote, has received the Ángela Ruiz Robles Award in Galicia for his academic excellence in the fourth year of the Simultaneous Program in Mechanical Engineering and Naval and Oceanic Engineering, a degree he completed last year.
Currently, the young man from Lanzarote is studying for a two-year Master's Degree in Naval and Oceanic Engineering.
In Stinga's case, he has received a prize of 1,100 euros and a certificate, in addition to a bonus of 500 euros for having an average grade equal to or higher than nine.
The Department of Education, Science, Universities and FP has allocated almost 630,000 euros to reward the best students of the 2023/24 academic year from each of the degree courses in each of the centers where they are taught.
