March will begin with light rain and rough seas in Lanzarote

The Government of the Canary Islands has declared a pre-alert for coastal phenomena on the island starting at 12:00 noon this Friday, with waves that could reach between 2.5 and 3.5 meters in height.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts light rain and rough seas for this weekend in Lanzarote. In fact, the Government of the Canary Islands has declared a pre-alert for coastal phenomena on the island starting at 12:00 noon this Friday, with waves that could reach between 2.5 and 3.5 meters in height.

For Saturday, there will be a predominance of cloudy skies with a low probability of generally light rain during the first half of the day. From noon onwards, it will tend to be partly cloudy with probable evolution cloudiness on the southeast slope where some light precipitation is not ruled out. As for temperatures, they will experience few changes, with minimums of 14 degrees and maximums of 20. The wind will blow moderately from the north, gradually weakening after noon.

Regarding Sunday, the skies will continue to be very cloudy, which may leave light rain, especially in the second half of the day. The minimum temperatures will drop slightly, reaching 12 degrees, while the maximums will increase to 22. The wind will blow weakly from the west.
