The historic Mexican band Maná gave its first concert in the Canary Islands last Saturday, July 6, after seven years without visiting the archipelago. The pandemic and personal reasons forced its four members to postpone their shows on the islands until this 2024.

Around 00:10 am on Saturday night to Sunday, the group from Jalisco asked someone from the audience to volunteer to go on stage and sing one of their hits with him. At that moment, Alejandra, a resident of Lanzarote, offered to share a few minutes on stage with the band.

Fernando Olvera, the band's singer, asked the conejera (resident of Lanzarote) who she would dedicate the song to and she said "to the most important thing in her life" which are her children.

To sing You are my religion, a song that the Mexicans share with Joy Huerta, they prepared two armchairs on stage for Olvera himself and the conejera neighbor to his left.
